Founded in Milan in 1933, EPO Srl is a historic family-owned company specialized in the production of high-quality plant extracts for the food (both food and dietary supplements), veterinary, and cosmetic sectors.
We process over 300 varieties of plants sourced from all over the world, with a focus on Italy and Europe, as we are committed to promoting our phytotherapeutic tradition.

The company operates cutting-edge production facilities, and all extraction processes use only water and ethanol—natural-origin solvents that are safe for both human health and the environment.

Our laboratories ensure continuous product innovation, rigorous control at every stage of the process, and full compliance of EPO extracts with food regulations. Special attention is dedicated to the accurate botanical identification of plant materials, supported by DNA barcoding.

In recent years, EPO has established important collaborations with several prestigious Italian universities to further guarantee the safety and efficacy of its extracts.
